My Financial Services career started in 1984 and I have since built up 35 years of experience across a range of roles with financial institutions. My last position was that of Financial Adviser and Area Manager at a large High Street Bank where I spent 9 years latterly in my local town.
In August 2012 I was invited to join the prestigious and award winning St. James's Place Wealth Management which has enabled me to offer a more personalised service to my clients and devote my time to meeting clients’ needs in a world where financial planning needs are constantly changing. I see the on-going review service that I offer as being crucial to ensure that clients goals and needs are addressed as appropriate, particularly in the current climate where many clients existing advisers may no longer offer face to face advice.
To maintain high standards of knowledge and professionalism I am a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and I have acquired the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning required to continue providing advice following the recent Retail Distribution Review (RDR) carried out by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Outside work I am a husband to Christine and Dad to Adam, Amy and Bethany as well as Father In Law to Hannah. Very recently we welcomed a new member to our family with Adam and Hannah having our first Grandchild, Henry. I love sport especially watching Norwich City and Kings Lynn Stars Speedway (I have been going since 1977). I still try and play cricket and you will often see me at Beetley playing field preparing the wicket (it seems a full time job!!) and then playing on the Saturday. I attend a number of concerts every year and always seem to be playing some music that no one else in the family has ever heard of!
